What is the Prayer Chain about?

“For I the Lord Thy God will hold thee right hand, saying unto thee, fear not; I will help thee.”  Isaiah 41:13

We recently viewed a video featuring roundabouts, it was very informative.  I am not sure if there is a video about prayer, but there is a book, the Bible.  “I constantly remember you in my prayers.”  2 Timothy 1:3

Gladys Peterson started Zion’s Prayer Chain about 13 years ago with a group of prayer warriors and has grown to 25 members.  The prayers number about 127 and are updated on a regular time schedule.  The prayers have include: our families that are serving in the armed forces, prayers for healing, patience, peace and comfort, strength and courage.  Prayers of thanksgiving, new babies and newlyweds.  Prayers for our youth as they travel on mission trips.  Prayers for our church, Pastor and staff, disasters around the world and world peace.  “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”  1 Peter 5:7

Anyone can ask to be put on the Prayer Chain or to request prayers for someone else with their permission.  It is always confidential and only announced in church if it has been approved by you.  Our congregation keeps all in prayer as we are a family and we can pray to God about anything.  “For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit.”  Colossians 2:5

Someone said if people really understood the full extent of the power we have available through prayer, we might be speechless.  Our prayers are the most powerful asset we have.

If you have a prayer request please contact:
